Terms of Service

1. About Unfrazzle

Unfrazzle is a family calendar assistant that connects to your email inbox, detects school and sports events, and organizes them in one place. It is operated by Unfrazzle (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using Unfrazzle, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Unfrazzle. By using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. Unfrazzle is intended for personal, family use — not for commercial resale or redistribution.

3. Your Account

You sign in using your existing Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You agree not to share your account with others or use another person's account without permission. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at hello@unfrazzle.ai.

4. Email & Calendar Access

Unfrazzle requests read-only access to your Gmail or Outlook inbox. By granting this permission, you authorize us to scan your inbox for school and sports-related emails and extract event information from them.

With your permission, Unfrazzle also creates events in your Google or Microsoft calendar on your behalf, so extracted events appear automatically in your existing calendar app. We do not read, modify, or delete existing calendar events you have created.

You can revoke this access at any time via Settings → Data & Privacy in the app, or through your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions) or Microsoft account settings. Revoking access will stop future inbox scans but will not delete events already saved to your feed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Unfrazzle for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the service
• Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Upload or transmit any malicious code or content

6. Household & Family Sharing

Unfrazzle allows you to invite family members to share a household, giving them access to the same event feed. By inviting someone, you confirm you have their consent to share their email address with us. All household members are subject to these Terms of Service.

7. Accuracy of Events

Unfrazzle uses AI to extract event information from emails. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all events are detected or that extracted details (dates, times, locations) are always correct. Always verify important events with the original source. We are not liable for missed events or scheduling errors.

8. Intellectual Property

The Unfrazzle name, logo, and app are owned by us. You may not use our branding without written permission. You retain ownership of your own data — we do not claim any rights over your emails or event information.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Unfrazzle available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by downtime.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Unfrazzle is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unfrazzle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed events, scheduling errors, or data loss.

12. Termination

You may stop using Unfrazzle at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete my account. You can also contact us at hello@unfrazzle.ai.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Unfrazzle after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
